It’s recommended to enter the facility via Gate 6 by going west on Preston Highway. Gate 6 entrance road is located between Thornton’s Gas Mart and Sleep Inn.

As for shopping, there are four malls located just 20 minutes from the Kentucky Exposition Center. Visit Mall St. Matthews, the Oxmoor Center and Jefferson Mall or park your car and amble through the Paddock Shops. When it comes to dining and entertainment, it doesn’t get much better than 4th Street Live!, a $70 million downtown complex of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, nightclubs and other entertainment venues.
